In a private and heartfelt ceremony, Bollywood actors Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal have officially become husband and wife. The couple, who have been in the public eye for their professional collaborations and personal chemistry, tied the knot at Sonakshi’s sea-facing apartment in Bandra West, Mumbai. Surrounded by close family and friends, the duo exchanged vows in a civil marriage, receiving blessings from their families and honoring their respective faiths.
Sonakshi, 37, and Zaheer, 35, first worked together in the music video "Blockbuster" in September 2022. Their on-screen chemistry led to their co-starring roles in the comedy-drama "Double XL." Although they never confirmed their relationship publicly, their frequent appearances together at various events kept fans guessing about their status. From birthday parties to scuba diving holidays, Sonakshi and Zaheer often shared glimpses of their life together on social media.

There were initial rumors suggesting that Sonakshi’s father, veteran actor and TMC MP Shatrughan Sinha, was unhappy about the wedding. However, these were put to rest as Shatrughan Sinha was seen joyfully posing with the groom and his family, showing his full support and happiness for the couple.
Zaheer, the son of renowned jeweler Iqbal Ratansi, comes from a well-known family in the city. His sister, Sanam Ratansi, is a celebrity stylist and costume designer.
